I'm proud of the fact that "The Beast" is "BeastBuilt"... that is, I built it myself... but, I couldn't have done it without the experience I've gained through years of 'wheeling with some great guys, and some advice here and there from some folks more knowledgeable about some things than myself. That said, here goes...
Thanks, first, to my Dad... for instilling in me the love of making things "go". Earlier in life, it was making things go fast... now, it is making things Jeeps go anywhere I want them to!! Thanks for the work ethic I got from working alongside you, building or fixing it yourself...
Thanks to Cactus, for always helping with a trail fix and for his part in inspiring the Purple Camo paint scheme ... and, then there's the winch... now, THAT'S a good story...
Thanks to Mark Hanson (formerly of Wagoner Machine Shop) and John Sumner (formerly WMS, now Sumner Machine Works) for their advice and for having solutions for every problem along the way during the latest Beast buildup... whether it be a simple answer or a custom part... Thanks!
Thanks, to my family... Beauty, for tolerating all the time and money spent on the Jeeps (but, baby, ain't it fun!?!?!?)... and Li'l Beast for being my #1 shop hand and thinking the Jeeps are so great... maybe, just maybe, he'll learn what I learned from my dad... and someday be building his own Jeeps!! (I'm bettin' on it!! )
Thanks, finally, to God, our creator, through whom all things are possible... for giving me the ability to put things together, and the patience and determination to see a project through to fruition. AND, for creating all the majestic scenery and terrain, ranging from relaxing to rugged, I've been able to enjoy in my Jeeps over the years. IN GOD I TRUST... I WILL NOT BE AFRAID... Psalms 56:11
